Will the ‘Wagné’ Gayner, Edú ‘the Cat’ Hawkins and Henry ‘the Hoover’ Coaker are embarking on the world’s first Adventurists Rally of Africa. This leaves on the 18th July 2008 from London’s Hyde Park Corner to Kribi Beach in Cameroon. We have to raise £500 for ‘Send a Cow’ and £500 for ‘Frank Water Projects’, but once this target has been achieved all other donations will go to our chosen charity, ‘Fairbridge’. Fairbridge is a charity that supports and rehabilitates UK inner city youth from disadvantaged backgrounds to overcome drug misuse, offending, exclusion from school, long-term unemployment, and teenage parenthood. We are driving a distance of 6000 miles in a 19 year old 1 litre engine VW Polo. A mighty fine wagon, some would say a masterpiece of engineering, this beautifully crafted automobile has but 4 gears and a top speed of 55 miles/hour. So aero-dynamically advanced is this trusty stead that its creators paid little or no consideration for Coak Dawg’s giraffe legs. We would all appreciate it so much if you could sponsor us as generously as possible, even a minimum donation of £1.20 would be a great help. Thank you so much, Will, Ed and Coakes.
p.s. Ed can’t drive (…yet) |
